Seeing a blue checkmark next to someone's name means they are Verified as being who they claim to be. This being the Internet, and an adult forum at that, we sometimes have people creating fake accounts with pictures that were stolen from somewhere online. To combat this, we've created a system where people can establish themselves as being "real."
Being verified means that the person has been to one of the major Tickling Conventions, has been on a live video chat with me
(TMF Jeff) for the purpose of establishing their identity, or has met someone I personally know and trust.
Q: Does this mean I can automatically trust Verified members?
A: No! All it means is that they have a face that matches their TMF identity. Nothing more than that. You should still use caution and common sense when dealing with anyone you meet online.
