Quantum fluctuations, as far as I know, are mini violations of the conservation of energy (ie creation of virtual particles that can exist for short time periods). If space-time has a rest energy of zero (which me must assume, otherwise.. there is no explanation for how life could exist in what would be an intensely dense, unstable and hot universe) then it would follow something as tiny as a quantum fluctuation could be causal for an inflation. The problem is that it's all speculation right now. 😛

Nice! Makes me feel happy for you! Work is always good =)...I am a student so I work only to pay for school=( no fun...but being student is fun ...I always said that studing is better than working..so I shouldn't complain =p

That would be excellent. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner; I'm forgetful. XD I am reasonably sure the big bang originated from a quantum fluctuation; as the total energy of space-time itself is 0. 😛
