We'll definitely be back. We live on Vancouver Island so it is only a 6 hour trip or so to Portland including the ferry. In my hometown we had to drive longer than that just to reach a decent airport. lol

It is a sad tale. lol
My wife and I went to Oregon in September (Just after Labor day) with my sis in law. I wanted to go very badly but by that time it was only open on weekends and we would be leaving by Friday so there was no way. Oregon is my favorite state however so I know I'll be back fairly soon. The park really looks like a blast from what I can see on the internet. 🙂 On a brighter note however we did get to go to the Sand Dunes again and take a ride in a dune buggy. What is your favorite part of the park?
