I went to Google and typed in alligator gar and found a least 3 websites.

Hmm, I must be wrong with what type it was. It's still a gar, but not an alligator gar. I don't know fish so when Dan (my bf) told me it's an alligator gar I went with that. But looking it up, I think what I caught was a Longnose gar.
