I went to sleep before I saw your response last night. Yes, I do need to put up a little more info about myself, now that I'm not "lurking in the shadows" so much anymore. Again, this will be part of easing myself into the forum.

I will briefly say that I'm male, 49 years old (a dirty old man), separated, strictly hetero, and from Massachusetts. I want to get comfortable with the environment first before I divulge much more than that ...

Trying to get by in life mostly. Without a high-paying, steady job it's tough. Now I work night shift, which means I sleep a lot. Although sleep is awesome. 😀

Yeah, friends are mostly temporary. Life is change and all that. And I actually did a lot of it for science, but then I got wrapped up in it too much. Plus I'm much better when my knack is as the cynical jerkass. XD Anything you hear about me saving a kitten is completely untrue. <_<

But I might if I can, it just depends. I haven't felt much like it for a long time just due to life and such. *shrugs*

Yeah I know. As I've said before, I haven't really tried. Especially not lately with all that's been going on. Not sure what would happen if I tried again, but most of the time I can't be bothered to care. lol

Eh, some didn't really post much, but some did. Bout 50-50 I guess. And I'm well aware of the PM box, but most people don't really respond. And when you're the one who's always PMing someone else, then that usually means they don't have much interest in you.

Well you probably aren't missing much now. When I last visited it had kind of went downhill and is usually dead save for on Sunday nights for an hour. It used to be pretty nice. Still though, sometimes I wonder what happened to everyone that I did talk to.

See, I kind of see live chat to be more personal. You're directly talking to them there, in the moment. But then to each their own. Makes it kind of hard to have a convo with someone when you've no idea where they do that though.
