Good choice. I like his use of Biblical reference that shows up here and there... I also really like his quirky nuclear-apocalypse-lovesong "Temptation of Adam", and "Thin Blue Flame", because there, he's so verbose that I might have written it. 🙂 I think all his albums are pretty solid, which is hard to find these days. Is/are there any act(s) you could recommend to me, perchance? What does Miss PurrBast really get into?

Indeed that was me -- he's my favorite modern singer/songwriter, I think. Glad you like him. I just missed seeing him perform live a couple of years ago at the Camden Waterfront -- his set got rained out. I think he's totally brilliant.

Nice find on the cut paper art site! I'm going to forward that to my sister -- she does cut paper art, though on a less complex scale... She used to head the Guild of American Papercutters, who focus more on 2-D work, but she'd love to see this, I'm sure!
