Christianity was used here as a justification for slavery.Blacks were descended from Ham,a character in the Bible who did something wrong.And he was cursed by Noah,as well as all his descendants into slavery.

Lots of the founders were slave owners.Washington and Jefferson among them.Jefferson had a son by Sally Hemmings,one of his slaves.It was really pretty common,not only then but up until slavery ended here.

Sounds like Franklin to me.That guy never said no to a drink,or a woman.😉 And Washington was at one time one of the biggest distillers of whiskey in America.But he never had Franklins reputation when it came to drinking.

Oh yeah,our founding fathers were a bunch of drunks.And many of them were well off.Franklin,Washington,lots of them were mead drinkers.It's not that hard to find here as far as i know.I'm sure most of the upscale liquor stores have it.The alcohol content would probably be lower then what you can get though.
