It wouldn't be so much except for the fact that the labor for the timing belt is so expensive as it takes so long to replace. Butmy car really needs it. I am almost at 106,000 miles 😱Good to hear about the new car. 😀
The older ones can be a pain, especially when the parts you need come from a dealership. Luckily, I only go there when my regular mechanic won't or can't fix what I need. I am thinking of getting a new car sometime soon just because mine might be becoming said money pit soon

Going to have some car stuff done earlier in the day. I asked about the parts cost which was fairly average but when I asked about the labor cost this is how I felt:
