I won't even leave my house on Black Friday. All my Friday work is done on Thanksgiving morning just for that reason as well.

I'm the same way, Slacker. I'd rather have bamboo shoots driven under
my fingernails than go shopping on Black Friday. Most of my Christmas
shopping is done online. I hate shopping in general. But online shopping
is teh awesome. 🙂

On an off-note, one of my Friday sweeps is a Best Buy in Allentown. Last year, I was there at 7am, Thursday morning....and people were already lining up!!

Screw that. I'll do like Mondy and order online. I don't want anything to do with assholes like that.

I love Black Friday.

Seeing all those soccer moms getting damn close to fist fighting over the last ridiculous Hannah Montana item.

People literally dragging bags big enough to fit 2 five year olds in, loaded with shit around the floor of the mall.

The ability to look smugly at the poor fuckers wrapped all the way around Best Buy while hovering at the door entrance.

Examining people who are diligently planning out a route while looking at a map of the store.

Listening to 150 people almost collectively bitch to loved ones on their individual cell phones about how many people are there and how cold it is.

Smelling the coffee permeating throughout the line from every Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, McDonald's and/or Gas station within a 5 mile radius.

And I can never forget:

The look of sheer terror on the naive little store clerks that are prepping to open the doors, while knowing full well they got suckered into doing it by the veteran staff members.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. 😀
