A lot of great music came from the 1970's, and yes some bad as well.

We all may not agree on every song, but I know most people have a few songs from this decade they crank up and sing a long to every time they hear them.

So.....what I was wondering, if you could think of 10 or 15 of your favorites, or heck even just 5, what would they be?

And oh yes I have a reason. I did the 60's last week on RobAce Radio, presenting the top 10 of the 1960's, and this week on Sunday Night Ill be playing the top 15 songs of the 1970's as voted on (or mentioned) by our little forum here.

So gimme what you got. Then if you like, tune in Sunday Night. Here is the show link:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/tmf-radio/2010/06/28/robace-radio-2010-21-sunday-night

But if not, still give me your thoughts on your favorites...I would love to include them. I already had 30 or so people send in some. Just would love to get some other members input that may not listen all the time as well.

Thanks.

Rob

You might know all of them. You might know some of them. But I know one thing, these 15 songs would NOT be rattled off as anyone's top 15 ( Probably not in their top 100 ). I am not saying they are on my top 15 either, but I thought I would give you an idea of what I remember. Not bad for an old man huh? LOL! :rockingout:

You know, the Bee Gees actually put out some good music in their early days. Then in the 70's they sold their souls to disco. :disgust:

YES!!!

Finally somebody of like mind!

In my personal opinion, it is one of the greatest love songs ever made.

It also brings back memories of looking across the south Saskatchewan river in late summer dusk towards the Saskatoon city skyline when I was a kid back in the mid-eighties.
