I absolutely love the pillow fight scene! The lascivious detail and the beautiful rendering of these gorgeous girls is just amazing! What can I say, except I wish I were a fly on the wall at this pillow fight 🙂

OK, ya I guess I told the artists to do that, too. I wanted to have a welcoming of winter in the scene. Since this is the start of the snowy season for most of us in the US, I wanted to have it appear like it's snowing feathers in the scene, as well.

Thanks Kunzite! I couldn't have asked for the team to do a better job than they did on the cover and pinup, that's for sure!

The Issue is Released and Available for Sale!

Phew! I was going to put this on sale at midnight last night, but I wanted the flash file updated on the main page (it had sadly been neglected for a few months). So I had to teach myself Flash CS5 in the span of an afternoon to update it myself.

Anyway, long story short, the site is updated, the issue is now ready for sale. I really like this one, and I hope you do, too.

Well, actually, I was thinking that feathers are usually used for tickling and since there are a bunch of them flying around, that would implement the tickling part of the scene, but then I didn't see the foot tickling going on at the time I wrote the comment.

Ahh gotcha!

Yes, the foot tickling is a bit more subtle than we usually do. There's a lot of stuff going on in the pinup, so easy to miss that on the first go...

It's interesting to see the results of the attached poll is relatively the same for both the TMF and TT. Granted, the same folks may have been responding to both, but I've posted similar polls in the past and received differing results from both sites.

Rylie is a really popular character. So much so, a fan over at Tickle Theater wanted a custom commission of The Ruthless having some fun with just Rylie. The result is the attached pinup.

For anyone buying the issue after this reply, you will receive a special version of this pinup where Rylie is topless. Basically it's the same picture, she just doesn't have her cheerleading top on.

It's doing well so far. We have varying success across our product lines, but The Ruthless has always had strong support from its fans, which we really appreciate!

I'm working on the script for #5 as we speak. It was mostly finished up, but there are a couple tweaks I want to make before it's shipped off to the studio.

Sorry to hear that! We try to strike a balance between producing content we know will work based on past experience and trying new things out. Sometimes the new ideas don't always work or resonate like we hoped. Sometimes they do. PM me or email, let me know what didn't work. I've received feedback from several folks on this issue and while most of it is positive, there are things I need to be careful about when experimenting!

The constructive criticism I got was rather gratifying in a way. Sometimes when people don't like an issue, it's the artwork that needs to be improved, which is why we've tinkered with our lineup so much in the past. But I think it's safe to say fans of The Ruthless really like the art team, and don't want that changed. So it's mostly the script that's going to make it or break it for this kind of a series. And that's gratifying to hear, since that what I'm doing. But it also means I need to perfect the pacing, action, and characters. As always, we'll gladly take the feedback and use it to make our products better.

Thanks! Really glad you like the pinup and intensity of many of the scenes in The Ruthless. We have some really big plans for this series, and I hope you enjoy the journey along the way 🙂

The script is being drafted/reviewed this week. Production will most likely begin during the beginning of January. So I'd say late spring/early summer is the most likely time frame to expect #5.
