Odd question but I'd figured, what the fuck, why not ask it.

When you're creating these, do Mr. Fetish's stable of 'partners' have names you identify them with, or any developed characteristics that make you say "yeah, this is what the comic is about, this is the punch line, this one would be good for this one". I ask, because as odd as it sounds, I really like the girl in this one, and noticed from eyeshadow and all that her own little arc from 31 to 36 to, now, 45. Gets it terribly compared to many of the others. Then again, the blue hair and blue nail polish and the point of focus here might also be drawing my attention as well.

Excellent post. You are thinking this through far more than I ever did, and I will take that as a compliment and a testimony folks have for the Mr. Fetish strip. That said...

Yes. That gal first appeared in Strip No. 31 as a vacuum sales gal, and has appeared a few more times... as do most of the gals in Mr. Fetish. I do "reuse" the character art (think of them like Colorforms) from time to time (some more than others) if I fancy the look of a particular gal and make some modifications, or I introduce a new gal from scratch... depends on my mood.

Now within the canon of the Mr. Fetish-verse, if I use my imagination for a reason; perhaps when a woman crosses paths with Mr. F the first time... one encounter with our understated Don Juan is not enough... so they become part of his stable of wanton followers. There was another gal that reappeared a couple of times (infamously in the "Being English" strip, No. 34) and folks began to wonder if perhaps Mr. F had found "the One".... well, I had to quash that. Perish the thought of Mr. F becoming ... domestic (shudder).
