I'd like to take this time to thank all of the Veterans and active duty personnel for their service.

It is because of you and your sacrifices that we enjoy the freedoms we have.

My father often said that of all the things he had done in his life, he was most proud of serving in the U.S. Army, 1941 to 1946, and being honorably discharged as a Staff Sargent in the infantry.
