is bob mcallister still alive? he did wonderama. never really cared for that show, but it was quite popular.

Bob McAllister died back around 1999 or so. He was 63. I never officially heard of what he died from, but I didn't have to. He smoked like a chimney.

You see, back in 1992, my family business did it's best impression of R.M.S. Titanic, and I wound up unemployed. I figured that, at that sad point in my life, I'd get a summer job working at Six Flags Great Adventure. It's good going back to camp. Anyhoo, who do you think's doing an entertainment gig there, doing his old "Kids Are People Too" thing? That's right, Brad. Bob McAllister. I used to see him, in between shows, smoking ciggies in the back. I went up to talk to him, and it got to where we were talking every other day. We spoke of 'Wonderama', and how, being that it was syndicated in two of the three largest American markets, that in sheer numbers alone, 'Wonderama' was shown on one in twenty sets every Sunday morning in America. I got to like Bob, he was a nice guy. And to think that, when I was a little boy, I was disappointed when he replaced Sonny Fox as the host. Boy, am I showing my age!
I was sad to hear he died. Boy, though, could he smoke.

I remember H.R. Puffnstuff because a young actress named Pamela Ferdin was in the show....who I wanted to tickle back then!

....and gigglygirl - 27 eh!..that's prime 20-Something Feet!!😀

Hey, Socks...I remember Pam Ferdin. As she got older, she appeared in other shows, long since forgotten. Brunette, as I remember. Yes, I imagine tickling her would certainly have been a fulfilling experience.

I remember first seeing her in the Star Trek episode where all those kids killed their parents because they were under the spell of that evil entity.
She was in countless other shows in the 60's and '70's but the only time I saw her Bare Foot was in the Clint Eastwood movie "The Beguiled" (1971 ish)
