I think its safe to say that a lot of people on here are also into feet,as well as tickling, which is amazing when you are tickling a persons feet,however....

Which of these are you more likely to confess to. I have no problem telling people that im into tickling, but telling people im into feet is something i wouldnt even do on ecstasy.

Your opinons?
 
Actually I think that foot fetishes are very common.

One of my best friends has a foot fetish and he has always been very open about it. He's always tell women about it and they stick their feet in his face and he licks them! I kid you not! I think the fact that he is so open about the women respond to it.

Hell, I think a guy having a foot fetish is almost the norm. Like guys having a breast fetish, not at all unusual.
 
I think tickling is more acceptable and more in everyday life where people can be ok with it and not turn thier heads to it all the time. Where foot fetishism is common yes but most people look down at anything that deal with feet most people have a tough time with it and foot fetishes get a really bad rap. Which is sad really and a real shame.
 
I'm always surprised at people who are shy about loving feet. I LOVE FEET!!! Well, OK, not all feet. But anyway, I've never had a bad experience with my foot fetish. I've never been with a woman who didn't think it was cute 🙂

I can't say the same for my belly button, armpit and tickling fetishes though! 😛
 
Different story over here man, altogether. Feet fetish aint norm or accepted over here, some people like a few friends of mine are ok with it but even then there is countless ridicule on their part! And as for tickling, i dont think anyone over here even knows it exists as a fetish, or desire, or whatever you wish to call it. when i say people, i am referin to the non ticklephiles, the vanilla's or norms of this world, pretty much what butterfly wings said

i think having a foot fetish is a little more accepted than tickling....but trust me alot of people have a problem with all of this and i've recieved sum jokes and ball busting about my foot fetish, but my personal experience with girls is that they thought it was great that i worshipped and tickled their feet, and had no problem with it......i think if your honest and be yourself you shouldn't have any problems....a girl told me that! :angel:
 
I think maybe feet. I like to display mine a lot and decorate~my gold permanent toe ring, anklets, barefoot sandals (thank you Goddess), high heels. Just walking the halls at work, women always notice and say things like, "your little feet are so cute~love the heels, aren't you freezing?" :jester:

I'm in England too. I agree with you about the tickle fetish. Even I didn't know it existed. I tried to make it go away and stop thinking about it but it didn't work. I thought it was some sort of mental illness because no one else thought of tickling the same way I did. But, I have to disagree about foot fetishes. I knew they existed a long time before I met anyone with one. All my friends know about foot fetishes whether or not they know anyone with one. I think people generally accept that as many men are into feet as there are into boobs. I don't think people realise that men who are into feet are not into boobs though. I really think foot fetishes are accepted here. I know that if any of my friends knew a man had a foot fetish he would be teased half to death with their feet. I would probably join in too. There will always be a few people who look down on others because of any little thing but I think foot fetishes are very widely accepted as part of the norm nowadays.

Why should it be acceptable anyways?

As long as you have found that right person (guy or girl in your life) that loves you no matter what and accepts you for it and is willing to take part in your fetish and not think of you as weird or strange because of it. Then that is what really should matter to any person with a fetish or more then one fetish in there life style.
 
1. Whos bussness is it anway, other than our girlfirends, Wives or what ever. (they got to put up with it)
2. Why do others that are not in our "Relastionships" Need to know. Bosses, friends ect.
3. If by some reason find out, who gives a crap what they think.
4. Everybody has a prefreance.
 
I have both fetishes, or "interests" as I like to refer to them as.

For me, if I had to pick a more "socially acceptable", or likely to be understood by a girl who might not be into either, I would have to say that more likely they would probably understand a boyfriend or husband who wanted to kiss their feet, then someone who wanted to tie them up and tickle them all over. As many who know me are aware, I have female letter pen pals, and have asked many of them tickling questions. Most of them answer that they hate to be tickled. I think that in the mainstream, tickling is something that was done to most girls in their lives as a source of domination, and pain, to be annoying, or to have power over. Most of them were probably pinned by an older, stronger sibling, or some other relative, and tickled against their will. In those cases, unless such activity caused them to develop a tickle fetish, many of those types of mainstream girls developed a dislike for being tickled.
So, in short, I would say it is probable that a mainstream person would understand, or find "socially acceptable", if you will, a foot fetish. This is just my view.

Hmm, I think that tickling is more acceptable. My best friend thinks feet are gross. Who cares what people think :bubble:
 
I think that in general foot fetishes are still more probably acceptable than tickling feitishes. That's just my opinion. That's why this forum is so cool so us tickle fetish people can support each other!

I guess I'd have to say that a foot-fetish is generally more 'acceptable' than a tickling-fetish ... reason being is that I think for the most part , people don't even know that tickling is a fetish per se ( "... you mean you get turned on by tickling?") , whereas mostly everybody has at least heard of the term 'foot-fetish'.
 
I say foot is more acceptable

I have both love feet and tickling most people know about the foot part even my parents which was very embarrassing at my wedding when my mom asked my wife if she got her toes done for me. I never told anyone aboput the tickling fetish unless I was tickling them in that special way. It is different but never have had a problem with it. Most if not all the women liked it and some have asked me how should they approach there new boyfriends about it. That is pretty cool if I may say.
 
I am torn between having to choose one , but from experience I would have to say tickling is more acceptable. I have tickled a female foot in public and some people just watched and laughed. But when I made a comment to you want me to kiss it they just gave me a look of weird.
The most recent was a couple who are our friends, the husband absolutely despises feet, even his wifes. She has gorgeous feet too. Anyways one night my wife commented how much I love to tickle her feet, the woman said it sounded interesting, later I managed to rub and tickle them and she was ticklish and loved it. She mentioned to her husband how good it felt. He looked at her and said that he said that a rub maybe, but when I asked if he would kiss or nibble them he literally almost threw up and said that was the most disgusting thing he ever heard. I know that's one example but like I said with me tickling was o.k., but anything else people seem to look at strangely.

Your absaloutley right! This is basically the state of mind i am in anyway, although the subject of acceptance is always good to talk about it, when it comes to the crunch, all i care about is findin that special lady who will accept me for me and will take part in my interests just as id take part in hers, as long as i have that, i could care less about anyone elses view on my interests, if they are ok with it, good for them, if they are curios to know more, even better (conversion :devil: ) and if they hate or dissaprove, whatever, its their loss if they dont wanna talk to me anymore because of it.
 
foot fetish more common

the foot fetish is probably more common across all populations and certainly has been studied and written about more. As to which a person is more likely to admit to -- that is more related to the person and his/her comfort level admitting to any fetish or other personal taste. Some flaunt it; some hide it all.
 
In my opinion they are both very acceptable..my husband and I enjoy a tickling fetish together and he also has a foot fetish which mean more pampering for me 😉
 
I think the reason foot fetishes are more acceptable then tickling fetishes to the vanilla crowd is because the foot is a body part like say an ear and some would admit they find it sexy. It is a "to look" fetish, even though we know different. Tickling on the other hand is more of a "to do" fetish and I think that's how they see it.
 
Word to the Wise, just using the word "fetish" is a loser

It's not clinically accurate for tickling (notwithstanding the dictionary revisionism this forum has had to endure). Nor is it in the interest of those who prefer feet, where it maybe accurate but not necessarily so. Don't throw the word around loosely. If you have a fetish, that's not a sin, but nor is it something to crow about. Hold your tounge.

i also live in the uk and over here were not as open to random fetishs like
tickling ,feet :disgust:

I think foot fetish is more acceptable because alot of people don't really think of tickling as a fetish.

Speaking as a Brit, I've got to agree with this. The rise in public consciousness that feet are erotic to look at/play with has really gathered pace in the past few years. I think it's at the point where a guy might be thought mildly fringe for wanting to suck a girl's toes but a girl wouldn't be thought at all strange to want to have her toes sucked. In a bit of a minority perhaps, but not in the least strange.

Tickling is something else. I think most people don't regard it as strange, they just don't consider it unless they feel it. Hopefully we'll change that in the years to come.
