A friend of mine has started a website promoting environmentalism through the use of sexy pictures. 😀 You can find pics of my feet in the Good Eats section, under "Eat Mo Vegi." There are a couple of others scattered throughout the site as well.

Other fun viewing includes pictures of a) a few of my friends' feet, and b) the rest of me. Feel free to play "guess which lovely lady is LindyHopper!"

Please let me know what you think, about my feet 😛 and about the site in general. It's a work in progress, so we're always looking to improve!

BTW, I'd appreciate it if no one posting in this thread links directly to the pictures. My friends are monitoring where all the web traffic comes from, and I think there's only so much they need to know about me! 😉

Cloudgazer - I hadn't thought about these shots emphasizing my arches (I'd been focusing on the toes), but you're right. The shading of the dust on my soles in the vegetable picture does highlight the arches (also of note is the first pic on the Gifts page under "Seasonal Fun"). And the silhouette in the box picture definitely gives a nice profile of the arches. And speaking of tickling them, I just now noticed there's a pair of hands printed on the top of the box, looking like they're reaching towards my feet! No big, I know - I just thought it was funny. 😛

This morning, I turned off the water while brushing my teeth. I will check out the site in more detail for some better ideas. All the pretty women are a bit distracting though. I'm one of those types that doesn't read playboy for the articles. I am easily distracted.

Kudos to anyone who actually learns something from this site, and changes their behavior for the better. That's really the part that I'm most skeptical of - the site actually accomplishing what it's intended to do.

And no, I'm not Avida Verde. 😉 She's the creator of the site, and was a professional ballroom dancer up to this point..... which means that her feet are way more beat up than mine! 😀

You should buy yourself a wall calendar (there's a link at the bottom of every page). The June photo is Miss December squeezing one of said cabbage tits. Checking for firmness and freshness, you know!

Well it should be quarter of an hour to work and the same back five times a week. However depending on whether I am working early's or lates, I up one side of the journey (on a loop) to forty five minutes (for exercise reasons), bringing my total per day up to an hour.

I also did two weeks of full time conservation volunteering last year for The National Trust.

So this in total must be worth more than just one measly extra guess 😉

But wait it doesn't end there. I have actually seen Al Gore's film three times since it came out (my trips to the cinema were all carbon neutral by the way).

Yeah, I think so too! One of my favorite sets is the Bike to Work set under Hot Wheels. I love girls who bike, and I'm a sucker for a girl in a untucked, unbuttoned shirt like that. 🙂

I think most people want to do the right thing, as long as it isn't too much trouble. If you give people a recycling bin, they'll use it!

After logging in my official POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND EXCITEMENT to LindyHopper,

...just wanted to say for cyber-public record that this site seems to be a great addition to the growing information and cultural presentation of essential content and discourse around the life-changing issues of global warming, climate change, natural conservation, cultural production and waste and our relationship to nature. Without this discourse, we become gnats waiting to be slammed against the windshield of ignorance and apathy and rampant misuse and lack of use of human genius (keep in mind, nature doesn't slow down on the highway of time...it just keeps driving on....the gnats get the windshield wiper and nature goes on to the next mile-marker and beyond).

I applaud this CREATIVE ADDITION to the mix so that we can take in the information in a new way, possibly reach a new audience and get them to turn, even slightly, in the direction of new awareness around something that is so central to all our lives, much like the very cells and neurons in our collective hearts....can't live without them, right?!

HotChixDig is NOT the end-all, be-all of earth-friendly information, just as "An Inconvenient Truth" is not and could never be the end-all, be-all of its genre. NO media programming is. But when we add to the positive mix, we add to the positive outcome. Who can fault the lovely ladies and creators of HotChix for that?!?! Let's tell our friends, then talk to our friends about this...then get up off our ticklish asses and do what we know is right. This is not about doing what is simple and easy anymore...not about being the lazy water-poopers that we've become...it's about going out of our way to bring positive energy and action and benefit to the Earth Mother that's gone out of her way to let us live on her, with her and in spite of her, however disrespectfully and often criminally we've come to behave in her presence.

HotChix is full of hot chicks for sure, Lindy one of the hottest!....and I can't wait to share this with my students!....if it gets one person to DO something differently and better, because now we're thinking differently and better and deeper, then all due respect and thanks to these hot chicks and the creative people who brought HotChix to us.
