Xbox 360 on sale November 22nd

I'll get one, but not at launch. Sometime next year. I'm also buying a Revolution as well.
 
I pre-ordered mine back in June and I just found out that I'm still not getting one in their first shipment.
 
I was playing the demo version of Call of Cuty 2 at the local GameSTOP, and...

Holy shit. They even put it on a 32" plasma screen and OMFGSPLOSION.

Buy it. Seriously.

Because i mean you think if you pre-ordered it back in June that you would be the first one to get it in there shipments. Stupid ebgames for ya!
 
I'm 30th on their list, and they're only getting 28 (who knows why that number) the first week.
 
I procrastinated too long to pre-order... And now I'm almost glad. A lot of folks who pre-ordered and thought that they would get their systems at launch are now getting f-ed in the proverbial A by sleazy, overselling merchants.


I'm going to haunt the local Super Walmart at midnight... Failing that, I'm hitting Best Buy early the next morning.
 
personally, i'm waiting for a particuler game, rumble roses XX to come out, them i'm renting both the system and game. Something about an all F vs. F wrestling game where tickle sticks are involved inspires me to search it out >🙂
 
I'm very tempted to go out and get this... but it sure is pricey for something that only has 16 or so games to offer to this point

EB is overcharging tremendously (Not that I'm surprised...they've never been ones to price things low.).
 
Those prices are probably for more than the system alone. Everyplace I've looked is making people buy the core system with a bunch of extras (extra controller, various games, an so on) as an excuse to jack up the price.
 
EB Games is ass, unless you're looking for something rare or used... And even then, they're overpriced.


Sam's Club was offering the best bundle that I saw: The Premium Xbox 360 bundled with one controller (*gasp* Something I'd actually WANT!) for around $450... Of course, that sold out in about 10 seconds flat. :cry1:
 
not too impressed

I feel that I am the only person not too impressed by the xbox 360. ITs doesnt look like that much of a leap in gameplay/graphics to start calling it a next gen system. I might get it around january for quake 4 or gears of war.
 
I might get it, but from what I heard the PS3 is going to be the best console, playstation is better then xbox but I have to say the graphics on the xbox 360 are fantastic

Most of thoses people that say that though ^ are almost always xbox haters and just playstation fanboys. Everybody's different when it comes to game consoles. Some only want good games to play on the console so they pick there system and some want high end graphics.

We only had 16 shipped to us. People were POed. At me. Like I do the fucking ordering.....

So... Did anyone actually get it?


I showed up at Super Wal-Mart right after work, hoping to pick one up, only to encounter a huge line. The thing wasn't being released until midnight, but according to the Wal-Mart employee I talked to (no, Lime, I didn't cuss at him 😛 ) people had been sitting in line since 6 AM... I then drove past Best Buy, only to see people camping. That's when I decided to call it a night.


Freakin' Microsoft and their damn artificial shortages and diverting extra units to Japan. :bat:

Nope, I'm not that impressed, either. I don't hate X-Box , but from what I've read, you have to either recharge your wireless controller, then play..or you have to buy some accessory that'll charge your controller WHILE you play. It was bad enough when you had to buy accessories for you system...but now you gotta buy accessories for your accessories? 🙄 If I get an X-Box 360, it's not gonna be anytime soon.

Then again, that goes for all three game systems (I'd rather wait till the price drops and there's a good number of decent games out before I get a system. )
 
yea the xbox graphics look amazing I saw it on the tv I though it was great. I was reading about the ps3 and supposedly the ps3 blew xbox out of the water, it offers a lot more then xbox plus way better graphics, i can't wait to see what that looks like,xbox graphics are fantastic, but the ps3 must be incredible, I can't wait for it to come out
