Is there a way to find out what the sex percentage is of the tmf members? I'm pretty sure that males outnumber females at least 5:1. Just really curious what that ratio really is.
I live in NYC, but I'm just about given up on the idea of finding a ticklee from here, because in the personals section, guys constantly start threads that they're seeking a lee, and rarely ever get any replies. On the other hand, when a girl (at least one who claims to be a girl) starts a thread, she gets bombarded with replies, and god knows how many private messages she gets.

Not really. Theoretically it might be possible to search the database for people who have claimed to be female, but that would be a lot of effort, and at the end of the day we wouldn't know any more about what the male/female ratio is than we do now, which is that by looking around, it seems to be getting more even over time.

Obviously if it could only be done manually, it will never get done, I just figured that there may be some computer code that can calculate it. This just reminded what I wanted to express to everyone in this board, I will create a new subject and do so...

It is funny…I was thinking about this the other day. There are definitely more guys on her then girls, but if I was to hazard a guess I would say the ration is more 3:1.

In regards to single ladies on her, the ratio is probably 30:1 …but I have met some of them so they do exist LOL

I agree, but even if a computer could calculate it for us, all we would have is a ratio of people who answer the gender question "male" and people who answer the gender question "female" which I'm pretty sure would have nothing to do with the actual numbers of either group, since some people don't answer it at all, and some lie about their gender.

but seriously, even if you went through every name, u couldnt figure out all the multiple profiles or ppl that registed and decided it wasnt what they wanted and never came back..so it be impossible to have a true number..

but id say more girls seem to stick around...but then again im REALLY new, so might be wrong, basing it on how most guys think 😛
