The almighty hollywood brother was chilling in his home (old school term for a crib) and caught a song by the group Bowling for Soup. The song is called 1985. The legendary hollywood brother would hihgly recommend anyone who likes a little rock and our roll to listen to it and watch the video that plays on vh-1. It is a great lyrical song and a cool video.

Now with this being said, after you hear the lyrics, what is your thoughts on the message and how many of us are still a little pissed that the Motley crue is classic rock and there is no more car dancing in videos?

also what do the great masses of the tickle world think of this song?

the legendary hollywood brother loves the lines in that song. there is numerous mentions to a time when mtv which stands for music television actually played music on the television. there is also lines about not aceepting any singer besides diamond dave in van halen and the hollywood brother himself think the video honors a lot of eighties videos with the car dance scene at the end

all the legendary hollywood brother knows is that rock and roll still had some balls and still could kick ass. now most of the new stuff is not half as good. now some of the stuff like JINX, DONNAs, MIDNIGHT CREEP, AVRIL, are not that bad, but they do not rock like DEE SNIDER, KEVIN DUBROW, AXL ROSE, JON BON JOVI, and other idols of our wasted rock and roll tickle youth.

the hollywood brother wants to know there website so he can check it out. at one point the hollywood brother thought that betty blowtorch was going to bring rock back as they say in track 10 on there cd "ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH", but the lead singer got in a accident and died before the hollywood brother could get to see her play live and find out if she is ticklish

I remember first hearing about Betty Blowtorch when Bianca passed away. The sad part was they had a write up in SPIN magazine two weeks later about how they were one of the up and coming bands you should keep an ear out for. Obviously the accident happened right as that issue went to print and there was no time to correct it. It's always bad when you learn of a band after they break up or a member passes away.
