I finally started dating one of my best friends ever, which will prob end up being the best thing that ever happened to me.

I finally realized what college is all about, seeing how I did so bad first semester. Studying a lot REALLY will help you learn.

I almost saw someone get eaten by a bird (one of the funniest things ever)

I'm an inch taller!

My brother got engaged this year and the other one moved out, which means ill have the house to myself in the summer.

I told so many ppl about tickling (not telling my parents yet, the 3 of us are on a need-to-know basis)

I finally know how good it feels to finally own something I bought myself after living off my parents for 19 years.After I bought the car, I felt so good, I cried just a lil. *sniff*

Im sorry to all of those who had a bad year this year, maybe 200....4, yeah, 2004 will be better for you!

Gotta agree with you there, TO. Overall, 2003 was a good year for us. Sure, we had some bad things happen...my mom's cancer, my own health problems, my niece's miscarriage, etc. But, there were a lot more positive things...another niece's marriage, the safe return of her new hubby and one of my cousins from Iraq, our new house, etc. Those are the things I choose to focus on. Unless there's something still to be learned from the negatives in life, I try to just let them go and deal with each day as it comes.

I have to admit, as sorry as I am to hear that some of the TMFers had a bad 2003 was a good year for me and Judy. The best overall thing was the arrival of our daughter, Amanda, our second child.

Again, I am sorry to hear about some of the difficult times some of the people encountered. For what it's worth, 1993 was the worst year of my life, and the year after, 1994, was a great year, so there is hope, and that was my intention.

May 2004 be a good year for everybody concerned

I must say I was/am extremely grateful for 2003.

I finally escaped my 11 year long loveless marriage.

I found Lazarus, the man of my dreams (or rather, he found me and hung in there until I was ready).

Lazarus proposed to me, and we got right on to planning the rest of our lives together.

I gained three new wonderful children. 🙂

I was made a moderator of the TMF forum.

And...

I held my first successful gathering, met a ton of SUPERB ticklephiles, had a GREAT time, and made some terrific new friends.

It was a difficult year, with both of my sons having surgical procedures early in the year. My younger son was seriously injured in an auto accident in November and closed out the year with a life-threatening GI bleed last weekend. Fortunately, my older son is well and my younger son is stable now. On the other side of the scale someone very special found his way into my life and changed how I look at everything. All in all, I would have to say the balance leans towards the good.
