911 perpetrated by our own government?

I flushed my toilet that day, while, in the process of yawning. I'm sure that somehow this all figures into it, and is ultimately responsible for 9/11.

Please don't send me to jail. I may want to have children someday, but not with Bubba. 🙁

I'm not asking you to believe, I'm just asking you to pay attention. IF another "terrorist" attack is launched on the US, and IF they use it as an excuse to change the democratic nature of this country, what then?

i slept during the 911 attack and laughed when a guy down my floor was playing "its the end of the world as we know it"

I guess im not a true patriot....

I suppose the next conspiracy will be that clinton didnt do any sexual crap in the whitehouse, this also applies to bill and his wife

You're asking us to believe its possible. But did you ever consider that maybe this is a terrorist ploy to confuse, divide, and create doubt and uncertainty in the american people? I'm not saying he's a terrorist, but that is what a terrorist would try and say to us as well, and if he's getting his opinions and info from sources that got theirs through terrorist feeds, then its all an elaborate plan to bring us down morally and they're using gullible people like him to filter the original messeges down because terrorists are smart enough to know we like gossip (unfortunately) and we like creating conspiracy theories to keep ourselves busy.

Bin Laden has been doing this on his videos and messeges, by telling half-truths to incite us to rebel against our leaders and governmental foundation.

How do you know this guy you read this from isn't a terrorist himself? At the very least, he may have some hangups with US policy, may have had a loved one die in Iraq, and now he's concockting stories to vent his anger toward the whole overseas situation.

It may just be his release, and nothing more.
 
What did you do? Stab some lady in a supermarket because they didn't have item on the shelf that you wanted, and then you held the place up and took hostages?
 
Man, the think tank eggheads at our Universities need to put their time to better use. Terrorists were responsible for the 9/11 attacks not our government. The only thing we did wrong was to not come down on them even harder than we did. Terrorist groups will NEVER change the democratic form of government we enjoy in this country no matter what political party holds the White House, Congress, or the Senate. That's because while we might have our differences ALL Americans cherish freedom and most of us will defend it anywhere. That will be especially true if we ever have to do it on our own shores. I just wonder if any of the eggheads who wrote that article ever wore the uniform of one of the branches of our military, I would be willing to bet NONE of them did.

Well, just to keep the conspiracies going (because they make life fun!), there really never was any proof that Bin Laden was behind Sept. 11 at all! :weird: Personally I blame the Belgians! They're usually up to something!
 
On September 11, 2001, I was in school. I came home for lunch and my dad was watching CNN and they were talking about planes flying into the towers and what not. I swear to you, I had thought it was a joke at first. I mean, in all my life, I never thought anyone would commit terrorist action on a place so close to my home. At least, not in my lifetime. After all, NY is not that far from Canada, you know. I feared for my safety at that point. So I thought it was a joke, but my dad said that it was real.

As for conspiracy, well, that's VERY thin ice to tread on and I'm not interested in running the risk of upsetting peeps, so... I'll just leave the conspiracies to you lovely folks. 😛
 
Its difficult for me to believe in anything without some hard evidence. All of the discrepancies in the investigative reports outlined by that article, in my opinion, were probably due to everyone trying to cover their ass. There may be a cover-up as far as the incompitence was concerned, but there's nothing abnormal about that in our government. Everyone likes to point the finger.
 
im not siding with either opinion but i just find some of the facts a little strange like the fact that the iron or whatever material was used in the support columns in the twin towers have something like a 2600 degree melting point and that liquid jet fuel burns in a pure oxegen environment at like 1800 degrees so for the plans to have melted the supports beams is physically impossible. and second there was one video from a gass station trained on the pentagon when the plane hit and only a few minutes after the plane hit the FBI was there to confiscate the tape, so for all these rumors going around that a missle hit the pentagon all the FBI would have to do to prove it was a plane and not a missle is show us that video but they wont.

I'm not getting involved in the argument itself, but a word of advice, if you want it - never ever talk about politics on a forum if you want to keep your friends. 😛 It's the one subject that could make even your closest Internet friend deploy an entire fleet of bad-ass viruses to your computer.
