during clinton's 2 terms as president he ordered the firing of more tomahak cruise missle at iraq than used in the whole war.
doesn't sound very diplomatic to me! can you really not remember the disaster of our troops in somalia under bill's leadership? that degenerated into a religious fight against the u.s.
i am glad to hear you are not a fan of clinton, though. that's a start. given some time, i'm sure i could make you a bush fan.

Stop the madness!!.......

First of all, I've been taking this particular site as an attempt of humor and vicious satire. Anyone who thinks I'm really pro-Bush must think I'm on the same drugs as they are!

Second, I'm not a Clinton fan. He made more than his share of mess over his presidency. However, more people seemed to have kept their jobs and kept financially afloat during his time than the Bushies. I work in the finance industry and I'd know the differences in economic decisions made by the public. We're in a state of desparation like none other in my lifetime, and although not willing to display my age, let's just say I haven't been twenty-nothing in a long time!

If you want to know the truth, I'm neither Democrat or Republican. They're just the two major political entities one is stuck with voting on. When the elections come this November, Bush will NOT be who I'll be voting on. He doesn't have my best interests at heart.

But, for the sake of participating in this thread:

Bush's rule!

Folks keep voting them in, what do you want from me😕

As far as the World Trade Cemter is concerned;

The CIA knew that the opposition (whoever they may be) was plotting to fly planes into buildings. Bush had this info and did what he has a habit of doing...nothing until the stuff hits the fan! He had his chance to fix this mess before it got out of hand, but ignored it, henceforth, 9-11.

Maybe they shouldn't have conspired to boot Gore out of the 2002 elections. Then, they could've blamed the Democrats for that as well. What can I say, an opportunity lost.

Here, I was thinking the same thing about you--you know, the truth vs. ostrich theory.

Look, either this is following the theme Shining Ice started this post on, or we are not on the same page at all. Especially the ostrich part. We can take that comment to the moon and back, but it's not going to change your position or mine on the matter.

Once again for the record:
I'm NOT a fan of Clinton. He did screw (no pun intended) things up royally for the entire world to see. However, there is not a person alive or dead that would EVER convince me that either Bush is the better president. The list of examples exceed space on this board.

I'm glad you're in the medical field. It's one of the few left that people can actually get a job in. Other jobs are scarce at best, especially in my state. When Bush can manage to figure out how and when people can go back to work with decent paying jobs (not 8.00-9.00/hr because no one can raise a family on that kind of money) then he can claim he's the economic hero. Until then, maybe he could use some of the billions being spent on Iraq to rebuild his own country for a change.

But, if we can agree on nothing else, that would be to disagree.:sowrong:
