So my friend has the hiccups the other night. I started tickling her sides and ribs suddenly, trying to scare them out of her. Well, after a few seconds of tickling and joking around, they were gone. I think I may have stumbled on a cure. Even if I didn't and it was only coincidence, I got a little bit of tickle time in. So there you go, guys and girls. Next time a tickle-worthy person you know is suffering with the hiccups, just use it as an excuse to rub their ribs.

I've had this done to me before several times, mostly because laughing makes my hiccups FAR worse, and I tend to spend time around people who enjoy watching me be uncomfortable

Definitely doesn't work for me, laughing makes my hiccups worse.
