One of the gals in one of the computer graphic arts groups I belong to made this and sent it out to our group this morning. Talk about an unexpected but delightful surprise! How cute is this??

This is funny, seeing as how life threatening this style of mouse trap is to the little guys.

My girlfriend's father has been setting these around the stove since they have a field mouse problem. When they set off the trap, they usually get caught with the metal bar right above the eyes, crushing their skull and forcing their eyes to pop out of their heads, held to their bodies only by the now-visible optic nerve.

It's actually much more humane than the other traps, like the sticky pads and igloo traps, which both use starvation. This one is over in about ten seconds.
 
Hey Redmage... think you can build a better mouse trap???? I bet yours would have more rope and more vibrators!
