I was recently talking with a woman I know. She's waaay ticklish and I've tickled her on occasion (just quick stuff) and once tied after she lost a bet and, after much "I'm scared" protest, honored her end of the bet and agreed to be tied and tickled for 5 minutes.
Now, she's told me time and time again that she hates to be tickled and she goes bonkers if you go after her. Now, here's the curious part... during our conversation the subject of tickling came up (don't remember how/why) and she said, "Oh, I'd let you tie me up and tickle me again... I had lots of fun." I had that head cocked, ears forward look you get from a dog when you say something they're interested in. Eh?? This was the first time I'd ever heard her say anything postive about tickling. I pressed her for clarification 🙂
Long story short, she said she liked the way I tickled her and that I made it a fun and enjoyable thing rather than some sort of evil, merciless torture.
Sweet. 🙂
My point of this post, I guess, is to say be mindful of how and what you're doing to that person you're tickling the crap out of... and you just might be rewared with a new 'lee. 😉
