A Little Break...

Hey everybody!

(I figured the best place to post this would be Video/Audio, since, well, I'm a video producer, and it pertains to production.) 😛

First and foremost, I want to thank the TMF for the Golden Feather nomination, and award for 2009 Tickling Video Company of the Year. It still hasn't sunk in, and it's nearly 2011! Truly...it means the absolute world to me that Rook's Media was so well received.

I haven't shot at all during 2010, and doesn't look like I will be doing so anytime soon. Life, professional opportunities, etc. It happens, but, who knows what the future holds? Production is possible again in the future, but, if I don't get that chance, I'll be forever grateful for my time as a producer. I'm definitely not leaving the forum...I'm just on an extended break from making videos.

I initially started Rook's Media as solely a hobby: as a way to introduce a vision, maintain archived footage, share the footage, and sell a few vids to fund future shoots. I had NO idea that I would be given the opportunity to focus on production full-time, and to work with, meet, and correspond with such amazing people.

I've been blessed...not much more can be said, ya know? I definitely don't take that for granted...never have, and never will.

Thanks to all the long-time producers still kicking ass and taking names: Tickle Abuse, Czech, Darth, JD, Yaqi, TMJ, SoTicklish, French Tickling, Knismo at Stuck in the Stocks just to name a few. You guys ALL inspired me to start a company, your continued commitment to excellence will never be overlooked, and I'll be a paying customer for as long as you're all in business!

To the newer producers (within 2010): Waytooticklish, Tickle Relish, etc... You guys are absolutely awesome, and I wish you nothing but success! Keep doing what you're doing, and good things will come.

Ryan, it's totally understood man with other things going on in life. It's funny, I was just looking over my clips collection the other day and was thinking I hadn't seen anything new from Rook's this year and here you post.

Now you're back to full-time fan, nothing wrong with that, as I told other producers before, how I admire your spark to make this stuff happen and to still love what you do at the end of the day. I thank you Ryan for what you have provide us fans/customers and hope to see you produce in the future. Until then, have more fun!

Thanks so much for letting us know what's happening in your life. It's great to hear that you're doing well.

Your videos greatly enriched the tickling community, and I hope you'll decide to come out of retirement at some point. But if you don't, thanks for the memories.

Actually you deserved the success you had here simply by offering a product of quality. I too was wondering during the last few months whatever happened to good ole Leatherpants - now I know. It's sad but understandable - so go get 'em buddy!
I take it you're not closing your shop, right?

Always a treat to hear from ya , Rook. While I wish you much success & all the best in your off-the-forum endeavors , this place is always that much better when you're a contributing member ... clips or no.

Glad to hear from ya , m'man , & happy to learn that you're doing well. Check in w/us when you can , but do what ya gotta do ... & always know that you're an important piece to our puzzle.
