The best highs I've ever had are Lee's neck bites. Mingled with hair pulling, face slapping, and off goes Mondy to her happy place. 🙂
Touché.
😉
I have some of this stuff sitting at home, but I've been afraid to try it after reading some of the stories about it. I think I might freak out if I left my body and traveled through another dimension. 🙂
From my experience of it, I didn't have an out of body experience, but my perception of reality changed to the point where I couldn't remember what life was like before I inhaled.
Hmmm....seems a fair price, considering the skyrocketing cost of other leisure substances on these bloody islands.
Tell us more about this journey of yours, guru.
Well, as you probably surmised from my garbled text earlier, that I really don't know how to describe it. However, I will attempt to do so now. Badly written, but it sums up what happened.

"Hey it's Artoo, I'm just outside. Can you let me in, it's fucking freezing out here!"
"Sure man, I'm on my way."
As I heard the door open, I turned to see who it was. I was greeted by a well dressed girl who smiled warmly at me, and gave me a hug.
"Fish, how's it going? How was Moog?"
"I'm cool, man, though Moog was a bit shit. The DJ was a bit rubbish and the drinks were overpriced."
Grinning, I replied, "I'd have loved to come out, but I've only just finished work. You should come down to Cookie sometime, though our DJs are rubbish too."
Fish invited me into the house. As I took off my jacket and went into the living room, I was greeted by two other patrons; Fish's boyfriend Jay, and Zoe. After exchanging greetings and food (I had bought chips & cheese on the way back from the city centre), we rolled a couple of joints, and relaxed for a bit.
After a while, when conversation had lulled a bit, Fish asked me, "Artoo, have you ever tried Salvia before?"
Racking my brains, I tried to place the name Salvia. "Not unless that was the stuff we had the last time we went out, I can't really remember."
"No, we only just got this stuff. It's a sort of shamanic herb."
"Ah, probably not then. What's it like?"
Jay smiled. "Heh, it's pretty strong, I don't think I've had a high like it."
"If there's any going round I'd be up for some then"
"Feel free mate, there's a bong lying around here somewhere..."
After a few minutes of more chat, some cigarettes, and vodka, I reach for the bong.
"Careful, that stuff's pretty strong, Artoo."
"I know, Jay said before. Don't worry, Fish, I'm sure I'll be ok."
I brought the bong up towards his lips, lit the Salvia, and inhaled.
After breathing in a lungful of the stuff and exhaling the smoke slowly, I felt the effects begining to take hold.
I looked up at Fish, exclaiming, "Fuck, that is strong. And was it strawberry flavoured?"
"Yeah, strawberry flavoured Salvea, sixty strength. Hold on, it gets more intense. Our voices will probably start to go fuzzy in a moment.
I stared at the television screen, watching the teletext scroll across; news of plane crash survivors, and Obama's right hand man. I was buzzing ever so slightly, likening the feeling to when I smoked a lot of weed in a short space of time. A slight tingling of the extremities, like pins and needles, began to take hold.
Being the inquisitive soul that I am, I was giving himself an audible narrative, which no doubt was annoying the other patrons. "It's like being really stoned, but I don't seem to have lost any energy. What happens now?"
Jay, who up until this point had been lying on the sofa, vast amounts of cocaine running through his veins, interjected; "Just let it take hold of you, Artoo, don't worry about it."
The pins and needles sensation that I had felt before was begining to increase in intensity. Soon, not just my arms and legs, but my entire body was succumbing to the intense throbbing sensation. My limbs felt like they were shaking uncontrollably, but when I looked down, I saw his arms lying as still as they were before, hands clutching a mobile phone and a cigarette lighter.
Then the transition happened. There was no blackness, or apparent change of scene. It was as if I had wandered into a waking dream.
I found myself sitting on a sofa, staring at a television screen; the seconds on the digital clock in the corner of the screen ever increasing.
Be that as it may, time held no meaning for me here. How long had I been here? Where, or what, had I been before? Had I even existed before this? If I tried to think about before, it was only as if trying to remember a dream - glimpses which are quickly stolen from you.
It seems almost silly, possibly even dangerous, looking back on it, but I had no recollection of who I was, or how I had come to be in the situation I was in. I had always been here. I always would.
"How's it going, Artoo?"
Looking around the room, I saw three people; Who they were I did not know, but I felt deep down inside that I was amongst friends.
When I turned towards them, I became aware of the fact that although we all appeared to be in the same room, we were seperated. They were worlds apart from me, for the room spanned dimensions, and crossing between dimensions is (as The Doctor succinctly put it) impossible.
The room itself was almost impossible. It stretched off to infinity, whilst at the same time having finite dimensions. It was so much more than a room. It was a world. A new place to explore. I looked around the room in complete amazement, as one who has been blind his whole life.
The music from the iPod blaring out in the corner of the room was begining to take on a life of it's own. I was vaguely aware that some of the sounds emanating from the speakers were not actually part of the song, but, like everything else, it mattered little. I fell into a whirlpool of auditory hallucination, letting the beautiful music flow past me.
"Artoo, how are you feeling?"
The dark haired girl was looking at me with a vaguely concerned expression. Her voice was distant, as though she was shouting from miles away. The man had disappeared, though I heard noises coming from the next room. The other girl looked up, smiled slightly, and continued to roll her joint.
"I'm..I'm okay, I guess. I can't really move."
"That stuff affects people in different ways, but it's always good." said the man, emerging from the other room. "Are you hallucinating at all?"
"No...not yet..." I murmured quietly, watching as the dark haired girl moved across the space towards the television. The fact that she was even able to cross the world that was the room fascinated me.
As she changed the channels, the images on the television began to warp, and the sound began to echo. Looking around, the entire room was warping before my eyes. I saw indescribable things, and began to remember things which had never happened. The pins and needles seemed to be holding me in place, giving me the feeling that I was being coccooned in a warm embrace.
After what felt like forever my perception of reality suddenly flooded outwards, like a river bursting its banks. Within the space of a few seconds, I came out of the trance, and could remember everything - not just who and where I was, but the details of what went on during my trance.
"Bloody hell, that was incredible."
Jay smiled. "It's always a good high, and that was some particularly strong stuff you smoked."
I left about an hour after that. During the comedown, I felt more relaxed than I have felt in a long time. I went to bed at around 6am, and had the most fulfilling 5 hours of deep sleep than I've ever had.
