Going along with all the recent movie threads, are there any films you love that you're embarrased that you like? I'll go first:

1941, Cannonball Run & Joe Dirt. I'm so humiliated. But I love 'em!

I though Bordello of Blood was kind of dumb, but I loved Dennis Miller in it. He had the perfect touch!

I like the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but in my defense it has a star-studded cast.

I also like Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. (I have no excuse for this one, your honor.)

this had me stumped...

my first reaction was "the princess bride". but then i realized, i'm not embarressed but it. then i realized i'm not embarressed buy liking a movie! why should we be? well maybe if you like austin powers, and titanic, then you should wear a paper bag, lol.

Definitely "The Cannonball Run." I laugh every time I watch that worthless piece of crap. If the critics would just lighten up, maybe they'd realize it's funny!

Some other marginal films that I like too much are The Last Boyscout, Captain Ron, Cocktail, and an HBO western from the late 80s called The Quick and The Dead.

I like Disney, too... I just saw Mulan last week and at 36 I OWN Aladdin! Pluse a few of the soundtracks. I'm a Twister fan 'cause of, you know, the tornados....

Another movie that I love, but not a lot of people remember, is The Pirate Movie. And The Goonies! And The Labryinth. Love that bog of eternal stench. First saw it on a bus ride to Disneyworld with marching band. I kept getting weird looks cause I was laughing so much. I couldn't help it! You try living with 3 older brothers and a dad who taught them and see what You come up with! 🙄

Oh, and I love Disney movies too. I have a bunch of soundtracks for them myself. And, of course, other movies. My fave is still Star Wars. But Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is right up there with it.
