It would be interesting to see the legal aspects of this device in the future. For instance, if it happens to catch the commision of a crime, would it be admissable since the parties involved did not know they were being photographed? It's one thing to be on a warrant-issued stake-out, another to simply go around snapping pictures of everyone and anyone.

I think this thing has many practical uses, but does sound a bit Orwellian. 😎

i really can't stand this planet. people got along just fine years ago without all this technology. we just need air conditioners; washing machines; and cars.

Put this device into the context of people who live with webcams on in thier homes all the time. Who choose to live 'public' lives.

Link it to a slingshot cellphone that uploads to the web in real time.

You have a mobile cam-person now. You can watch their life. A video diary open to all.

Privacy: In public places should one expect it? What if your best friend decided to wear one. How would you handle it?
