A quick question...?

This is my very first post in the tickling discussion area, and I have a quick little question for anyone who would like to answer. In several chatroom discussions I have made the comment that I have a habit of dangling my shoes, sometimes at work, sometimes while at lunch, etc. and I've had several guys tell me that by doing that I'm "asking for it" (a tickling, that is). So my question is this: If I am sitting somewhere in public and I'm dangling my shoes, am I indeed sending that message out to some guys?
I'm curious to see what others may say about this. Thanks!

Interesting question, NL, and here's my take on it. The only time I say someone's asking for it is when I've gotten to know them at least somewhat, and I think I can gauge their personality. Now, then, to paraphrase Freud, sometimes a shoe dangling is just a shoe dangling. I'm fairly sure that you're not actually wanting a total stranger to come up and start tickling your feet, when you haven't actually, literally invited him to do so. Whatever a woman wears and does will trip some dude's trigger and make him believe that the lady is 'signalling' whatever he wants to him, but that doesn't make it so. If I do get to know you, nylonlady, and you do dangle in my presence, this opinion can change. Until such time, I'd say, nope, you're not 'asking for' anything, except perhaps, some ogling and dreaming of your nyloned peds. 😀

You're not asking for anything by doing that, it's probably just a comfort thing or a nervous habit. Like Smileytkls said unless you know the person in your presence as a tickler and are purposley doing so to get a rise out of them then the answer is most definitley no.

Now to your question. By dangling your shoes, or even by kicking them off, you are not asking for anything. A stranger who tickles you or touches your foot is actually guilty of battery, although many prosecutors might not bother with the case.

Nevertheless, it does you no harm to be aware that there are many men out there who like pretty female feet, and you are teasing us when you do that in public. (Which I enjoy, by the way, and I would never touch a stranger under those circumstances.)

I've done it forever and I never knew what a big deal it was until I heard TMFers and foot lovers talking about it.

Back then, I didn't know much less imagine that it could affect anybody.

A lot of guys like to see pretty feet. Doesn't mean they are part of "the" fetish. Nice feet are... nice. LOL And guys notice feet, just like they notice other "parts" too, I suppose.

And to be honest, now that I know how it can effect a guy (pretty big number of guys), if I catch one staring at my feet, I do it on purpose. 😛

But I've never had any guy come up to me that I didn't know very well and tell me that I was asking for tickles just because I flashed and wiggled by bare feet. (Even the guys I do know well haven't done it.)

So, even if you ARE asking for it, like I do... or if it is just a habit, it's your feet! LOL I don't think it really should be a problem or an issue. And even if they are getting a "message" from you, that doesn't give them the greenlight to "act" on it.

It's funny cuz if I ever see one shift her eyes or quickly look at me, I know she knows. It hasn't happened yet.

somtimes on purpose... sometimes it's an accident...

I accidentally (really!) teased a foot guy at work recently. I was in my office at the computer (which is right by the door) and was wearing new shoes that day so I had kicked them off while I was working and had wrapped my bare feet around the base of the chair so that they were soles up behind me. I was pretty comfy at this point so I didn’t move to put my shoes back on when I heard someone mopping outside my door and then tried to pretend I didn’t notice when, after a while, I heard his boss say, “hey, Tom! I think you’ve mopped that spot long enough!”. 😀

I realize this is an old thread, but I have to ask.

Let's say you were dangling and a stranger does come up and tickle you. How would you react? What if he/she took off your shoe before doing it?

I would never do this of course, but it is something I've always fantasized about. Especially if the lady is wearing nylons. Tickling, though seemingly innocent, is still crossing the line though when done by a complete stranger, even if the woman is teasing by dangling (and who's to say she was intentionally teasing, maybe her shoe was just loose). Still, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to tickle a stranger before.

But I often wondered how the women here who are into tickling would react if a stranger tickled them, especially if they were dangling their shoe.
