Hi, I was in the chatroom and it randomly closed out and opened a spam site that said my computer is infected and needs to be cleaned. Idk if this has happened before but..

Yes it has. The flash ads that we have no control over are vectors for various attacks.

Make sure your system is set up to not allow i-frames, and to watch for process starts.

This is one reason that we rejected the A/V room as our main chat solution.

Yes, my comp has gotten infected going there before.
There are many free anti-virus solutions that offer real time protection. Avast is one that I use now.
If you feel you are infected, you might try installing and running Malwarebytes. It is also a free scanner.

Malwarebytes is a great program and free. We use it in out shop. If you need a good free anti-virus program you can go to www.downloads.com ( owned by cnet ) and search AVG 9. It is free and really good now I just hop e TMF is getting a refund from Digichat
