the debate can not be flip flopped. the point of the post was that the peacenik shoots down every argument of the warmonger, and the warmonger keeps going in circles to try and shoot down the peacenik. but im glad you liked it

That's because the Warmonger is in the explanatory (defensive) position in that "debate". You can flip-flop it by having the Warmonger as the Peacenik "Why are you protesting the war again?" Contructing such a discussion similar to the initial post in this thread will have the Peacenik running in circles.

once again i was attacked on this board, and when i try to politely defend myself, my post gets pulled. at least this time the other side was also pulled!

to answer mauraders idea of setting up an underground opposition movment; it would have taken too long, if it could have even been put together. you have to keep in mind why the u.s. is there, to stop a terrorist attack before it can be launched. what you proposed, maurader, would be long in accomplishing anything, if at all. that extra time would have allowed the iraqis/terrorists to make another massive assult against america, this time using wmd's. that is not worth the wait, sorry.

north korea is in bad straits. i think pres. bush is taking his time, and dealing with iraq first. pres. bush has called for all the pacific rim countries to be in on the negotiations with us, and north korea, just like he did in the u.n./iraq. he's trying to work out an international consensous. this is as big a problem for china, and japan, and the philipines, and australia as it is for america.

my feelings are that this is a giant bluff by kim il to try for more aid from the west. he wants to be bought off. and now his feelings are hurt that the u.s. decided to take care of business in iraq before dealing with him. it's a lot of bluff, and bluster from a starving, and failed communist dictator.
