Ace Of Bass (Best Bass Players)

I know we're mostly talking about rock bassists here, and a bit of soul and jazz. I just happened to hear Rod Stewart's, "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" and was reminded of how great that bass line is. I think it's played by Phil Chen. Is that all octaves or something?
