My apologies, Vlad, but you're only 99.9% correct. The Church (at least, the Catholic one) DOES care about certain acts of foreplay. Bondage, for instance, is forbidden because the tying up of a human is like lowering said human to the point of being an animal or somesuch. Torture, in any capacity, is likewise forbidden, as it is said to make both the tortured and the torturer less human (through both the act and the process), so I assume this fetish's preoccupation with torture, no matter how playful, is looked down upon in some regard. There's also the issue of contraception (which is more involved with the act itself than this particular fetish) and various other things...at least, that's the way it was last time I heard.
But, yeah, he's mostly got it right from the whole "God" perspective. Also, you've got to take into account the difference between "God's will" and "man's interpretation of God's will." We can never fully or truly know what God is thinking, because He's God, and we're not. *shrugs*
Do I think that God looks down on this fetish? Not unless it is used in a malicious manner, same with everything else on this earth.
