Advice for making tickling videos

Hi TMF
I have been toying with the idea of creating my own tickle videos, does anyone have any advice on what type of camera to use, as I would like HD quality clips. I feel that UKTickling is leading the race with HD clips and that's the quality I am after. I am also UK are these types of cameras available in Curry's?

I recommend you to use a Canon G20 camcorder, which is not yet available, but it will be in April. http://www.amazon.com/Canon-VIXIA-Camcorder-Internal-Memory/dp/B00AWZFHG0/

Although, if you need something soon, the Canon G10 will do the job.

Other option is to use a DSLR camera, like the canon t4i, which is made to take photos; but as it has such a big sensor (18 megapixels), great lenses, and a lot of features, you can record great HD movies with it, perhaps better than the camcorders, or at least at so me comparable quality. So, it is a good option too.

If you do not have $1000 to buy the camera, go with something lower, like sony cx190, but make sure to buy other things, specially lights. If you have enough light, properly positioned, then you can get a great video, as good as with more expensive cameras, with less expensive cameras.
