Oh good heavens no. Just a bit before 2001. 'Course, when someone like my dad complains about how he used to be able to just walk on the plane, no security at all, THEN you know you've found an old fart. 😀

I'm not a huge fan. I don't mind flying, but I do prefer being on the ground.

To be honest, I get some kind of odd enjoyment out of every aspect of travel. Strange though it may be, I enjoy packing up and getting ready, I like being in the airport, and I love to fly. Even on the overnight flights to Europe, I enjoyed (just about) the whole trip. 🙂

I love to fly. I love the view when I have a window seat, and I love the feeling that comes with taking off and landing. And, to top it all off, I'm exceptionally weird because I actually enjoy mild to moderate turbulence. (If it's bad enough that people are starting to scream, that starts to get a little unnerving) It's strange but I feel like it's a reminder of just how powerful the forces of Earth (wind/weather etc) are.

Having been in the Air Force.....

I've had some interesting flights. Flying over West Virginia in a two prop plane through a thunderstorm. You could actually see the air flow over the edge of the wing because it was raining so hard.

i love flying. there's nothing like staring down at some great landscapes from so high up. i've posted a few cool photos from my last trip back to texas last month. it really makes you stop and see where you rank in the grand scheme of things and how big this world really is. flying rocks!
