Now, while it is true that I am mostly a Met and Yankee fan, what gives with the Red Sox?

I'd be thrilled seeing them win the World Series! It's been so long, and the Yankees have won their fair share!

Now, with the playoffs two games to none in the Yankee's favor, Boston is really going to have to bear down. Hopefully, home field advantage will help.

Even though I'm really not a baseball "fanatic" I say...

LET'S GO, SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the sox can come back, who knows.. but I for one would be glad to see all the fans jump from the Bosox bandwagon. Granted there are a few loyal, diehard bosox fans.. and to those I applaud your teams efforts and wish them well.. but I am SO SICK of all the 'wagon jumpers' coming out of the woodwork. Suddenly everyone is a Red Sox fan?!? Samething happened last year with the Cubs and where are all those Cubs fans now? Hmm.. hard to find if you ask me. IF the Sox go on to lose to the Yanks yet again, listen closely for the loud thud.

Plenty of teams have come back for a 2-0 deficit in a 7-game postseason series to win the series. The first team to do so was the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers, who won the World Series that year after losing the first two games. 😀 😀

That said, do I believe that the Red Sox will do it this year? No, not with Schilling injured.

If the sox win on Friday, Schilling may yet be ok to pich on Saturday...They need to sweep at Fenway to have a chance, but don't count them out just yet as they have pulled off many must have wins this season...
