We are all thinking about the safety of our jobs with AI, so I have started to see how replaceable my studio was by testing some tools.
Current State of the technology is :
AI Stills -> You can do basically anything
Sound
Personally I think that some stuff are worth looking into
- And the last things are related to Motion Capture and Deepfakes.
It is easy to see bad uses ot the technology (using a celebrity or a random person image, this will be a Big No), but I see something else.
Like in movies and video games, you see these special suits with white ping pong balls, it turns an actor into Gollum, a dragon, or a Na'vi,
So with the same principle, you could film the action and transform your ticklees / ticklers into any output (characters, creatures, ...).
So basically, I don't see AI replacing anything, especially as 95% of the people will want to see real people.
But maybe we will soon start to see something that looks like a kinky tickle video made by pixar.

Sound
- Voice cloning is pretty good
- Sound effects are hard but actually you don't really need them
- Lipsyncing is hard.
- Tickling Laughter is not easy to generate.
Motion ->- Generating a whole video from scratch is currently almost impossible (Limited to 10 second scenes and hard to stitch).
- The costs are getting lower, but the time it takes to get an acceptable output + the amount of trial / error is superior to anything made IRL
- Generating animated Backgrounds (for Greenscreen) is good.
- Deepfakes and motion copy are very promising (but still spottable)
Personally I think that some stuff are worth looking into
- First, Story clips can be enhanced (crazy locations or costumes for a fraction of the production cost)
- I have also seen some AI able to change a camera angle (kind of things you could use very carefully and lightly)
- And the last things are related to Motion Capture and Deepfakes.
