Aimster downloads

I'll throw a dozen into my shared files folder, leave them up for awhile tonight and put them back up on Friday the 10th at midnight EST if anyone wants me to. If this works, I'll put another dozen up next week and so on until I've exhausted my collection, at which time hopefully someone else can add to the pile...ok? The screenname on Aimster is qjakal what else? Q

Okay..it's 8pm EST and they're up...some .mpgs and some .rms ....good luck, and someone let me know if this worked out for them, ok?

I've got Aimster some time ago but I don't know how to add ppl in my list. (I downloaded it 'cause of Uncle Steve) Can someone explain how???

I know I sound like a complete tart asking this but what is Aimster. I know I must seem clueless. have Aim, the AOL instant messenger. Is it like that? I'd like to know.

Aimster and its uses...

To the 11:30 poster, sorry, I logged off at about 11...it's like 100 degrees here and my bayfreezer isn't working well enough to keep the HD on all night. About 6 people downloaded the dozen clips, so it seems to be working well enough, which is of course the purpose of Aimster. It allows you to easily share video/audio and pic files at your leisure. For those of you who want/need info on it (very similar to Napster, except no internal player), go to Aimster.com and read and download as you wish. I'll post them and a few more Friday night around midnight EST and see if there's any interest for them....screenname qjakal....and then browse files. By the way, i have like 3000+ mp3s on the back drive also, so if anyone is having a prob getting a clean copy of something, I'd be happy to bring it forward if I have it and copy it into the shared files section. Q
