Air tickles

Haven't seen much about this on here, so sorry if it's been done before. Has any one else witnessed air tickling, where you don't even touch the person and they're cracking up? Or you go to tickle them, but then don't and they laugh any way. I find this very funny to see.

My friends did this to me all the time in high school! All they had to do was wiggle their fingers at me, and I'd be squirming and giggling. 🙂 It's the whole anticipation of being tickled thing...

Yeah, I have to admit I've been on the receiving end of this. My sister-in-law seems to be a master at eliciting this response; on a couple of occasions I was sure she was actually tickling me until I looked up from my writhing and squealing to notice that her fingers weren't even within range of me -- yet. Not sure how she does it; it's some serious ninja voodoo telekinesis stuff going on there.

Yes! If someone just acts like they're gonna tickle me, I feel "tickled" and laugh!

Like I said before, tickling is your body's response of a feeling nervous. It doesn't know what to do so instead it laughs.

Oh yeah, that is a great way to find out if someone is ticklish without actually tickling them.
Two quick ones, Saw a friend at the mall with her young daughter who had on a tank top that showed her belly button, I wiggled a finger in the air at the daughter to air tickle her, but her mom laughed just as much saying something like, "Oh, I can't stand to be tickled either"... Gave her the evil eye and a finger wiggle and she squealed "No!" I didn't take it any futher. Just fun memory.
Second, was at work. I talk with my hands quite a bit and I was talking about something work related and she got this smile on her face. I said, "What?", She said, "You have to stop moving your hands like that, it looks like you are tickling someone" 🙂

every time, without fail. i always try to push the other person's hands away and yell "NO NO NO WAIT STOP WAIT WAIT WAIT" as if that's going to deter them.

yes, there is a bondage mistress i see who loves to do air tickles with me. She will tickle me relentlessly me for a while, then pause, then just when i think it is safe she will bring on the air tickles which will cause me to laugh like crazy again!

I did that to my niece while here on vacation in Arizona ( Still here ) I was sitting in a recliner and she was on the couch a few feet away from me I got her attention motioned the air tickles and she right away curled up into a ball and started giggling as if I were actually tickling her even though I already did that earlier in the day

To me, that's just as bad as actually getting tickled. I start to laugh uncontrollably without even being touched!

My friend would do this to me...she's tickle me...and then just put a hand in my direction and i'd flinch and laugh instinctively lol

Almost every ticklish female I come across does that especially if they have been tickled by me before. Some have even got giggly when I give them "the look of you know you are about to be tickled."
