Alan Rickman dies at 69

Lemmy, Bowie, now Rickman. This year has kicked off really well, hasn't it? And yep, cancer...again. What a great actor. I loved him as Hans Gruber and Severus Snape. I should really check out his other films though. RIP Mr Rickman. 🙁

Another sad passing.

Apart from his role as Snape, I also enjoyed him in Sweeney Todd.
I've not seen that much of his work, but was always delighted when he (or his voice) featured in something I was watching.

Oh god, not another one... Mr. Rickman was always one of my favorites. The world won't be the same without that man and his sexy voice... :'(

What a fine man and talented actor he was! He had a great command of the English language and could play a cold blooded terrorist or a burnt-out actor in a Sci-fi comedy, with a heart of gold. I loved him in Dogma and Love Actually. I'm one of the few people in this planet who hadn't seen the Harry Potter movies, but what I know of Snape, he seems like the perfect fit for that character. RIP Mr. Rickman.
