I just hope the vote gets over with in the Senate so Ted Kennedy and John Kerry can stop acting like the pompous fools they are. We need MORE justices that read what is actually IN the constitution instead of re-writing it to fit their little whims, or worse, the Amercian Criminal Liberation Union's (i.e. the ACLU) whims...
wow, you mean serve the constitutional intent of the court, and only interpret the decisions made by the legislative and executive branches. wait kyhawkeye, Democrats have been telling us for years that justices are supposed to use their own personal beliefs and consult international law when making rulings. that's why we have to have these ambush hearings and drag out their entire college friend lists. you're not saying that they are just supposed to interpreet US law to the best of their intillectual ablility are you.

The few, the proud, ...
I'm one of those old nerds that actually read the Constitution in history class in Junior High AND Hidh School. The liberal elites know they can;t get amendments to legalize their ideals, so they pack the court to get it law through the back door. Leave it alone. The fact that less that 30 amendments in over 200 years (including one being repealed) shows that it is best left alone. But since civics and history are not taught accurately any more, people believe the lies of the ACLU and People for the (Un)American Way.
If I had my way, Scalia (sp?) would be chief justice. I love how Ole Teddy's "Borking" of Alito is blowing up in his face. I hope they do go for the filibuster so it explodes in his face in the Seante and shows how out of the mainstream the liberals really are.
