Just two months ago, Trucks and his Freight Train Band played at an intimate little venue less than a half a mile from me, a converted stained-glassed church, actually, where my late wife and I had attended a couple of services and our daughter had performed in community theater. A local radio station recorded a wide-ranging interview with him beforehand, while he was still "at his home in France."
