alternatives to toe ties

Hey guys, guess I'm among the very small minority of ppl on here who DON'T like toe ties. Was wondering if anybody has seen alternative ways to immobilize feet?
 
I like the immobilizing bar placed on the balls of the feet, makes it so the toes can still wiggle and curl
