Amateur Bondage

A tickle partner and I have just started getting into the bondage tickling thing... Only thing is, we don't have official bondage gear and we're not exactly the kind of people, if you know what I mean, to go to an adult store...

We thought about ordering from the net, but other people live there who we'd rather not know about it, and that could be sketchy too...

Our current setup is shoe strings with socks (for padding) for the wrists and belts tied in knots for the feet. Her bed has 4 bed posts, so we just need 2 of each.

Just curious if anyone else has amateur setups such as this one for similar or maybe compltely different reasons, and what they consist of and how well they work.

Lots of adult stores these days are a lot more respectable than back in the day. It's really worth the effort to make the trip to buy a good quality set of restraints. They are comfortable, easy to set up, easy to release you partner from, and will last for years.

Back in the day I tried lots of "amateur" set ups, and nothing beats quality rope, in my opinion. But -compared to a good set of nylon restraints-it's like being in the dark ages. One trip to the toy store will be a lot less traumatic than you think it will, especially relative to the fun you will have.

The best thing Ive used that wouldnt get any question is nylon hose. They are cheap, very strong, and need no padding. They can be tied several ways. Me and my gf have been using them for a long time and they work great.

I must also agree with Casadyrocks in saying that a good set of restraints from the local toy store is the best route. Its fun to shop together and pick stuff out. Anyway, good luck.

Me and my gf have tried a variety of things to work as bondage, some of my favorites are my boxing wraps and clothesline. Wraps can be purchased at most sporting goods stores and are relatively cheap. I'd suggest trying department stores, like wal-mart, for clothesline. They normally have more of a variety and it's normally softer. Of course you could always go to a craft store and check out their selection of rope, that normally costs quite a bit though.
As far as tying with these go, i'll generally use my wraps if i'm gonna tie her down spread eagle or something quick and simple. I tried hog-tying her once with them and the wraps are just too stretchy....so use the clothesline for that.
Oh, her preference is normally the clothesline. She can get a little thrashy sometimes and if the wraps are used right the pull can tighten'em up which can get uncomfortable sometimes.

If you know anyone who works in a hospital, ask them to swipe you 2 sets of soft restraints...

I thought it was cool to hear somebody say they were saving sex for marriage too.



About getting bondage from places other than sex shops. Well you can get handcuffs from Spencers in a mall, you can get duct tape and saran wrap from Walmart, and you can get rope from Home Depot or Lowes.

So, there are plenty of options besides going to a sex shop. Also, you can get a sleeping mask from Claires to use as a blindfold if you two are comfortable using one.

And you can get feathers and brushes from Michaels, an arts supply store.

But, I do think you and your girl should go into a sex shop and look around some day. It's fun and funny haha. And they have some cool stuff in there sometimes, like real handcuffs, ankle-cuffs, blindfolds and toe-cuffs.

Oh I'm quite familiar with what you guys do, I love your stuff! So, I have noticed before and am quite fond of, now that you mention it, the karate belt idea... Unfortunately, I'm fresh out of karate belts, lol.

You could probably buy some karate belts online, but that may look suspicious haha.

What I like about them is the fact that you can wrap it around a wrist or ankle before you make the knot, so circulation isn't cut off. You can make nice, clean knots with them too.

And if you have a lot (I want to get more) you can actually match the belt color to what the lee is wearing haha.

Like if she is wearing black and red lingerie, then you could use black and red belts to tie her in a spread eagle or hogtie. Stuff like that. You can get all the basic colors.

They might be a little harsh though, I have no idea since I lack a willing participant to try my mad ideas on. I think these are available in hardware stores too, if not then an outdoors shop. They are, however, a little limited to bed ties. Hmm, you could probably do a balltie with one as well

I wouldn't worry about "what people think" in the sense that most people won't think about it too much.

If you want good rope, get the 6mm clothes line... they'll just think you want clothes line.

If you want handcuffs, or a karate belt then they will probably think it's for a fancy dress party.

I remember the first time I bought some rope... I was so certain the lady in the shop knew what it was for! Of course, she didn't.

Trust me I'd love to, but it ain't that easy for me... there are just a multitude of people that this doesn't need to get out to just yet... I'm not so much worried about close friends as I am a random person that knows us seeing us walk in or our cars parked there or something like that and it going from there... Keep in mind we don't actually have sex (yet) and people know that, so you could imagine the rumors... I just don't want that to happen... Sure, it's unlikely, but I live in a small town with one sex shop, so it is definitely possible.

Oh, and also, I'm a cashier (at a normal place), and I definitely don't enquiry every item that people buy... I'm sure I check lotion and baby oil everyday without even thinking twice about whether or not it will be used casually or for sexual reasons, it's just usually not something that the normal person thinks about. Even if they do think it, you'll never know anyway!

Thing about cashiers pretty much anywhere: THEY'RE BORED OUT OF THEIR FREAKING MINDS! If they're not busy talking to you, then they're busy thinking about what they'll have for supper, and in either circumstance they aren't really paying attention to what they're scanning, and even if they are they're definitely not thinking of all their possible uses... Trust me, I know... It's one of those jobs that requires minimal thinking skills as far as your job goes... Scan items, push buttons... Lots of time to think about absolutely everything that is NOT related to what you're doing, other than bagging items efficiently, if you even have to bag them... So, that really isn't a concern for me.
