Excellent idea, James! Hopefully this encourages everyone who produces amatuer clips to put a little effort into it, and create something everyone can enjoy, and that they will be proud of and recieve much praise for.
I'll use this chance to give everyone a few pointers, tips, education:
-First off, LIGHT THE DAMN SET!!!!!!!!!
All amatuer clips have one thing in common - they're all shot in dark rooms. Or maybe one, dim light on. Video cameras need a lot of EVEN light to make a great picture. If one light is too bright, like from a big open window, half the room is overblown white and looks blue, the rest is dark and looks orange.
-Close all windows.
-shoot in a brightly COLORED room, as much as you can possible find. I have a dark room at my house, dark floors, dark ceiling.....when I shoot the annual christmas video, everything comes out darker than when I shoot at my families brighter colored, white walled houses. The video camera will try to match all the colors of the room, so if everything is dark around your model, she will turn dark to compensate. Her flesh will turn grey instead of skin colored. Look at Jame's videos - they look excellent. He uses an all white set, that's why. So when Autumn has flesh colored pantyhose on, you can see every shade of her feet underneath them.
You'll need more light than is in your living room fixtures - you don't need a professional lighting set up...unless you can find one!
Go to WalMart, or wherever you shop. Buy a car lamp, it comes in a square box, it's a silver, round fan shaped light that you strap under your car to fix the motor. It cost, like, $5. Buy at least two, the more the better. (If you only use one light source, everything pointing at the light will be overlit, everything behind the light will be too dark. The shadows will be too intense.) Buy a good 100 watt bulb, or better. Aim two of those at you model, a ways away so she's not over lit, and blinded, and fiddle with it until it looks nice. It will be very bright, yes, but check out the viewfinder to see what the END RESULT will look like.
-use good camera angles. Go take a look at the cartoons people draw. Check out Viper's video with the tan pantyhose.....then girl is on the sofa, feet on table, you can see her soles in camera, and her face in the background. How about showing the tops of her feet tickled, maybe even pull back to show the back of her head watching her feet being tickled?
-try story lines, there's hundreds of detailed stories folks have submitted out there.
Or just a sexy scenario - a girl who gets tickled while sleeping, someone who asks to be tickled, a witch who calls forth a tickler to tickle her feet, an interrogation, etc.
-pay attention to outfits, costumes. Pantyhose, socks, bare feet. Almost every model is tickled on a bed, in a bikini, or t-shirt and shorts, bare foot. How about something different! A chair, a different way to shoot with a bed, etc. How about a well dressed girl, tickled. A girl in a nighty and pantyhose, tickled? A nighty and bare feet? A bathrobe? A costume, cowgirl, genie, cop, military officer, secretary?
And take some high quality stills to post in the images area, to show off your hard work, and reap much praise, while you're at it! With a real, digital camera, full resolution, not a camera phone.........
Good Luck everyone!
