i think that's what the newest season is all about, lol...ive only seen it a few times, and ive yet to hear anyone who can sing! But, don't get me wrong- the rejects are my favorites! My friend d/led the video of the "she bangs" guy 😀

I agree Clair. This season, only three contestants impressed me, and all three have been voted off. That sixteen year old is decent, but no Kelly Clarkson or Tamyra Gray material by a long shot. Actually, the rejects are so bad, they're the best at it!

What about that girl named Jennifer? I thought she'd give Patti LaBelle a run for her money, but she got voted off. I don't know what the judges are looking for this year, but I hope they find it somewhere else😉

Are you talking about me? I've never been on "American Idol," and would never even go try out for that show. Reality TV is something I'll never be interested in. 😛

kis, I have found out that Jennifer will be back trying to compete as a wild card. She is from Chicago, and we were stunned like everyone else that she got voted off. But she will be back and I think she'll win, because she can straight-up blow😀

Last night...

Man, if I was in Group 1 and then had to sit through watching Group 2 suck that bad I'd be cursing whoever made these groups up! Personally I thought the first singer (football player, forgot his name) was good, but after that it just didn't happen. Bet you don't see anyone from that Group make it into the WildCard round....

I hear ya, Q. I have been an avid fan of American Idol since it aired it's very first auditions in season one. And I must say I have been quite disappointed by this years contestants. There are a few who are 'good', but nowhere near the caliber of previous seasons constestants and winners.

The first group was okay, with Fantasia blowing everyones socks off. But last nights group was just PATHETIC. Omg it sounded like tryouts for the high school choir (hell, most of my fellow classmates from A Capella Choir would blow the doors off most of the contestants last night). The only two who were even able to hold my attention long enough to finish their songs last night were Lisa (larger framed cute redhead) and Camile, the Hawiian girl. The former football player that performed first has been really really good in the past, but just did not come through last night. I was quite disappointed to see that. I had him figured for the finals.

At this point, judging by what I have seen from the first two groups, I would pick Fantasia to go all the way and win this season. But we'll see what happens in the next two weeks.

I also liked Marissa. She sang last. I was dissappointed that she didnt go through. I thought she was good.
