And the choke job of the NFL wildcard weekend goes to................

As a Ravens fan, I must say that watching the Steelers get Tebowed was the highlight of my weekend!

For the 2011 Season:

Pittsburgh outscored the Broncos by a whopping 16 points (325-309). They were outscored by the Dolphins, Vikings, Bears, Raiders, Bills and Jets.

Pittsburgh was 5-3 on the road, being outscored by an average score of 16 PF-to-18 PA per game.

They were 7-9 ATS, including 3-4 when favored by >7 points and 2-6 when on the road.

They had barely beaten Curtis Painter and the Colts (23-20), Blaine Gabbert and the Jags (17-13), Tyler Palko and KC (13-9), and Colt McCoy and Seneca Wallace of the Browns (14-3 and 13-9).

In short, only extremely casual football 'fans' thought Pittsburgh would easily, or even just barely beat Denver.

Anyone who paid attention to either team knew that Denver could easily cover the 8 point spread. In fact, many pundits were beginning to pick the Broncos for the very reasons I stated above (well, that and you know, Tebow and Denver were 7-3 in 7 point games).

So I would hardly call this loss a 'choke job'.

It was entirely predictable.
