as you can see the avatar that i have is busted and i am trying to find a new one but when i try to change it it says that you cannot post animated images. did that become a new rule when the site configuration changed or what?
 
Animated images should be allowed here; my own avatar is animated and I reposted it after the old ones got corrupted. Is your image over the size limit (100x100 pixels, 19.5 kB) or something other than a regular .gif?
