Anime Fans: What is your favorite Anime of all time?

Mine is easy. Gravitation. It's the best anime that I have ever seen. I am still waiting for the english dub, due out sometime next year....and I am in the process of reading the manga, which was just recently released here in the states. What about you guys? (all 9 of you, lol....but hey! We gotta stick together! We must keep the small anime influence here!😀 😉) Fruits Basket is probably my 2nd fav..

I've seen...I dunno, 8 episodes of Gravitation. Its okay, but my girlfriends just in love with it...her and her yaoi, sheesh >>; Anyway, yeah, it is a cool show.

DBZ, sure, its cool too (Everyone knows I like DBGT better because of Pan though, but eh, DBZ DOES have better fight scenes).

My most FAVORITE anime of all time...now thats a tough question. I'd have to say Neon Genesis Evangelion. Or Slayers (Specifically NEXT). Or Ranma ½...thats the best manga I've ever read at least. Or Tenchi Muyo -- the Ryo-Ohki OAV is basically what got me into anime in the first place! And theres DBGT of course, can't forget about Pan! Oh yeah, and KO Beast Century is REALLY funny, thats definatly a favorite. Almost forgot, Read or Die too! And lastly, Mamono Hunter Yohko, cause thats cool.

So there you have it, my narrowed down list of the...8 animes I like best! (Don't quote me on that, I probably left some out).

Even though I'm a huge fan of the anime style, I haven't got the privilege of getting that much quality anime across the pond. I'd probably be a huge fan of Cowboy Bebop. That said, my current favourite at the moment is the legendary Akira.

Akira's an amazing classic -- but I wouldn't say its one of my favorites. I wouldn't even watch it twice, but thats just me ^^x;

Akira was the first amazing anime I saw. Ninja Scroll was the first anime I've bought. Vampire D was the second. Poltergeist Report was the third. Since then I've seen lots of Anime. I really can't say what I like the most.

I tend to like most Anime and Manga some of my favourite’s are Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Macross Plus, Tokyo Babylon but my current favourite is Patlabor the Movie pts 1 & 2

Anyway, favorite anime...I don't really have a favorite, but I have many favorites (Initial D, Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, Kare Kano etc.)

I'll give catagories:

Comedy: Excel Saga

Action/Fighting: DBZ

Samurai: Rurouni Kenshin

General: Cowboy Bebop/Inuyasha Love 'em both, so I'll choose 'em both.

Darker Story: Hellsing

Thats a toughie, but here are the first few movies that i seen that got me all hyped up about anime.

Like I've said before, Akira's a GREAT film, and I agree with that, but I still don't like it all that much (I don't not like it though).

As for Project A-ko, that is one of my favorite animes of all time! There have been 4 films of it, and 2 extra ones set in a parallel universe. Of course, the first film is the absolute best, and in my opinion they get less and less good as they go on -- but oh well.

hmm, its difficult to narrow it down to one because i am i huge anime fan and have watched many many anime series and movies, i would narraw my favourites to Noir, Evangelion, and Gundam seed! Just to set the record straight, Akira is NOT anime, its Manga, there is a difference.

Um, yeah, there is a difference. Manga is the Japanese word for "Comic", while anime is short for "Animation". Manga is also a company that translates and distributes anime, but this doesn't mean Akira isn't an anime. It's animated, therefor, it is an anime, owned by Manga Corp.

Of course, there is a manga (Thats comic, remember) of Akira -- which is about 4 or 5 BOOKS (I mean THICK books) long.
